Both platforms let volunteers sign in with Planning Center and sync people. MxU's Planning Center integration is built around Sunday. It creates chats for scheduled teams, assigns checklists to scheduled positions, and follows the service order on its dashboards.

EquipEngine is built around onboarding. When someone reaches a step in a Planning Center Workflow, EquipEngine assigns the right course automatically. When they finish, it advances their Workflow card and stamps a custom field on their person record, like "Kids Safety Training Complete."
